Priests who already celebrate Mass according to the Missale Romanum of 1962 in the Diocese of Tulsa are authorized to continue to do so, provided a request to do so is submitted to me (Art. 5). Priests ordained after the publication of Traditionis Custodes are to submit a formal request to my office and await the required consultation with the Apostolic See (Art. 5).

Until then, priests who have been celebrating the Liturgy according to the Roman Missal of 1962 should know that in accord with Tradiciones custodes of Pope Francis, 16 July 2021, by this letter, I extend to you the faculty to continue celebrating the Sacred Liturgy using the Roman Missal of St. John XXIII of 1962 mutatis mutandis, that is observing the adaptations called for in the Apostolic Letter. The grant of the faculty is in force immediately and until the above-referenced Instruction for the Diocese is issued.
